Fantastic Fridays at Alberta Lift

One of our major goals at Alberta Lift & Equipment Rentals is to keep our staff happy and satisfied so that we can all work together towards better service for our customers. We believe that family is the most important thing in life, so we treat each other like one big happy family.

This is why we've come up with Fantastic Fridays. On the last Friday of every month, we all get together over a delicious lunch and we discuss our successes and our team achievements. We also talk about how we can improve our customers' experience. We think that there's no better way to grow as a team than over some delicious pizza. Our next Fantastic Friday will be at the end of December and we are all looking forward to it.

With our office, shop and field staff in different places, it's difficult to get everyone in the same room, so this staff lunch is an important opportunity to connect, learn from each other and bond as a team. During October's Fantastic Friday, we covered some important points and we've already seen some improvements coming into November's lunch. We had spoken about our successes in this struggling market and we patted ourselves on the back for continuing to outperform our competition, despite obvious challenges.

When you have a staff as dedicated and committed to customer service as ours, it's not always easy to break down our faults, but we find that over a bit of food, we're able to come up with ample ways to improve. We also celebrate birthdays and anniversaries during Fantastic Friday and in October, Lou Antol from our Lethbridge location's service team, celebrated a birthday.

We also handed out employee surveys which are meant to establish our employee morale, and job satisfaction…..something we pride ourselves on. This is why we believe that our customer service record is at the top of the industry and continues to advance each and every month.

The greatest companies in the world have been built with customer service in mind and to have a business with excellent customer care, you must have a solid, loyal and satisfied staff. We don't expect to achieve this through just one Friday lunch, so we are constantly working with our staff to ensure that they are happy, informed and well-trained in every aspect of our business.

We talk to each other every day and send emails and pictures across our networks to show each of us enjoying a different part of the job. We communicate constantly and have rewards for employee of the month. We do all of the things that help to ensure that our staff is having a great time while doing a fantastic job at work.

Fantastic Friday, is simply a time for us all to unwind and go over our accomplishments and our progress. It has proven to be a very fruitful endeavour for us and we look forward to continuing it for the forseeable future. We'd like to thank our customers for helping us to learn, improve and grow into the company that we are all so proud of today.
